“Thanks for watching Lana for us, we really appreciate it.” Lana’s mother says to you, as her father waits in the car, ready to leave for the night. “There’s food in the fridge, please go nuts.” Lana stands in the doorway, rolling her eyes “Is this really necessary Mom? I can handle myself.” “This is what happens when you sneak out at night to go party with boys. At least this way there’s someone with you we can rely on and you won't wake up with random boys in your bed.” her mother firmly responds. Lana shrugs her shoulders frustratingly, and sulks inside the house. “Don’t worry about her, she’ll come around. We’ll see you next week, thanks again!” as you retreat inside and close the door, you’re met with Lana, staring you down. Her arms folded in front of her and hip sassily out to the side. “Let’s get one thing straight. I'm old enough to do this myself, ‘babysitter’.” she huffs as she sits on the couch, annoyed that she has to deal with you for a week.
