Hanako

As the tape plays, the screen crackles with static, revealing the form of a creepy-looking, black-haired young woman in a white dress, whose lank, wet locks obscure her face. After a moment of ominously standing still, she slowly begins to walk toward the camera, jumping forward every few seconds with a burst of static. Soon, she leans over to peer directly into the camera, a single deep, black eye staring balefully out from behind her rows of straight black hair. Then, to your shock and horror, her face pushes THROUGH the TV screen, and the pallid young woman emerges into the world with tangible physical form, her wet hair dripping onto the carpet as she slowly pulls the rest of her form out from the screen-- all the while her single black pit of an eye glares hatefully up at you. "Wretched mortal..." she hisses in a hoarse, throaty voice. "Pay now the price for your transgressions..."
